Terms of Service
Last updated August 13, 2026 (version 2026-08-13)
These terms apply when you use ReviewMate. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company.
What the service does
ReviewMate collects your business reviews and rankings, drafts replies and posts for your approval, publishes what you approve to the platforms you connect, and reports on the result. Features vary by plan.
Your account
Keep your login credentials private and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must give accurate information at signup and keep it current.
Honest reviews only
This one is not negotiable, and it is the law rather than a house rule. You may not use ReviewMate to create, buy, solicit or publish fake or deceptive reviews or testimonials. That includes reviews written by anyone who did not have the experience described, reviews from people connected to your business without clear disclosure, offering anything of value in exchange for a positive review, and suppressing genuine negative reviews to distort your overall rating.
The US Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule carries civil penalties per violation, and each individual fake review can count as its own violation. We will suspend or terminate any account we believe is using the service this way.
Review requests you send must go to real customers, and you must not condition them on the rating a customer intends to leave.
AI-generated content is yours to approve
ReviewMate drafts replies and posts using automated systems. Those drafts can be wrong, can misread tone, and can state things about your business that are not accurate. Review anything before it is published. Once published under your business name it is your content and your responsibility, and you are the one your customers and the platforms will hold to it.
Connected platforms
When you connect Google, Facebook or another platform, you authorize us to act on your behalf within the scope you grant. You remain bound by those platforms’ own terms, and they can change their rules or cut off access in ways we do not control. If that happens, the affected feature may stop working.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings, in the same number of steps it took to subscribe, with no phone call and no retention conversation required. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
If a free trial converts to a paid plan, we will email you before the first charge. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund or where we have clearly failed to deliver the service.
Acceptable use
Do not use ReviewMate to break the law, to harass anyone, to infringe someone else’s rights, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it without our agreement. Do not upload data you have no right to give us.
Your data
Your business data stays yours. You grant us the license needed to run the service for you, which means storing it, processing it, and publishing what you approve. We handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data and you can ask us to delete it.
Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep ReviewMate available but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Rankings, heatmaps and review data come from third-party sources and search results that change constantly. We do not guarantee any ranking, any review volume, any rating, or any business outcome. The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law does not let us disclaim.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service or other customers at risk, or that has not paid. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Changes to these terms
We will post any material change here, update the version at the top, and email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use ReviewMate after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, you can cancel.
